Gregarious Goblin Gift Exchange 2022 Bundle

Creative Inspiration

In 2021, a group of TTRPG enthusiasts organized an end-of-year gift exchange, allowing creative folks to share their talents with art, writing, game design, and much more. The tradition has continued since, with those administering the event each year taking on the mantle of “Goblins” to help encourage burgeoning creators and old pros alike to share the results of their creativity. The Gregarious Goblin Gift Exchange was born.

2022 Exchange

In 2022,  participants created assets such as maps, character drawings, NPC histories, custom magic spells, monster stat blocks, short encounters, stories and poems that deepen the lore of a particular character or location, and even complete playable games!

Unlike last year, participants were not matched to one other person. Instead, all of the creations have been bundled together and distributed to everyone who participated. In other words, if you created one item, you gained access to ALL the creations. There is no money changing hands nor purchases involved. Participants got exclusive access to these files until the start of GGGE 2023, when they have now been made available to everyone!

What's included in these files?

To make sorting slightly easier, the files have been zipped together by category, including Maps, Art, Games, Custom (including homebrew content and individual items that can be used in various games), & Extras (digital assets, poetry, and anything that does not quite fit into the other categories).

What can I do with my own contributions?

You are absolutely free to use your own contributions as you see fit. You may post or publish them anywhere you like, and you may sell them commercially. We do not take ownership over any content you provide. We have merely bundled it together and distributed it to all the participants.

If your work appears here because you submitted to the 2022 event, but you would like it removed, please contact me directly (@thogreer) and I will be happy to do so.

What can I do with other people's contributions?

The creators have given permission for all of these files to be used as extensively as possible for personal use.  You may NOT use any part of any gift for commercial purposes UNLESS the creator specifically gives permission to do so with their submission. Please do not ask creators to give you a unique license to use their work, as they would have included permission if they wished it.

Who were the Goblins that year?

Is this related to the GGGE RPG?

Yes! This event inspired the event's organizer to create a complete game of playable Goblin adventure, where characters capture gifts from every corner of the multiverse. An early version was originally available with this bundle, but an extended, improved version can now be found here:
