When an old man calls for help to exorcise ghosts that won't stop haunting a small home, will your party answer? Can they solve the mystery of why the spirits are so unruly in their designated haunts? Will they use diplomatic skills, uncanny reactions, or set themselves to do battle with the spirits themselves? And in the process, can they discover this stranger's identity and connection to this place?

Assignment

Assigned a randomized title appropriate for the fantasy and science fiction literature that inspired many adventurous ttrpg games, these works written between the 1930s and 1970s  are still typically found on the shelves of used bookstores today, often appearing as well-worn paperbacks with faded text on thinned, pulpy pages, and that special used book smell!

The Drifting Spectator was written to evoke a scenario where players might feel they are being watched, maybe even judged, by some outside presence. The module was required to take up no more than four A5-sized pages, including the optional cover.  This work is 100% HUMAN MADE.
